If you’re new here, the first thing you need to know is this week’s summary is different than “normal”. Sure my weeks change and that’s why I share – to make a point that fasting is flexible and doesn’t have to be tied to a single window each day.
However, I did something even more different than usual… a 100 hour fast!! WHAT?! It was a new goal I set after doing my 72 hour fast. I felt so good at 72 hours… could I make it an even 100?!
I SURE DID!! Woot woot
It was a great experiment… one I doubt I’ll ever retry. However, I am glad I did it. It’s amazing how with time and practice, it wasn’t that difficult to do!
So Moving On…
I didn’t have a daily eating window. So the stats look skewed. I would hate for a first time reader to see this and think “holy moly, if this is what you have to do for intermittent fasting, I am out!” NO… Come back!!!
Reminder; I’ve been fasting over 2 years and had a desire to do this. It’s NOT a requirement!
Looking at the summary you can see my total fasting hours were 161 hours and 20 minutes. Much higher than normal. If you want to see a typical week, you can see these other examples.
My total eating hours were 6 hours and 40 minutes. Quick math; (thanks for the comment letting me know you like this, I truly appreciate feedback!!) Total hours in a week (168) – hours fasted (161.3333) = hours eating in a week (6.66667). Hours eating in a week (6.6667)/7 = my average eating window for the week. This means an average eating window of roughly 1 hour. However, please keep in mind I didn’t actually eat for 100 hours in a row. This average doesn’t represent 7 actual eating windows!! 4 of them were 0!!!
The food I am sharing is my “last meal” before my extended fast. This was after camped at my dad’s house on Sunday 8/14. It was a hodge-podge, but delicious!
