Weekly Meal Plan: Delicious Ideas for OMAD Lovers
Welcome back to my weekly meal plan roundup! If you love food, meal planning, and exploring new flavors, you’re in the right place. As someone who practices One Meal a Day (OMAD) intermittent fasting, I focus on creating meals that are satisfying, full of variety, and something to look forward to every day.
This week is a little different—I’m traveling to the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis! I can’t wait to share all the fun, the newest snack finds, and my favorite bites with you soon. That means my meals during the week will be on the road—poor me, right? Meanwhile, my kids are soaking up time with their grandparents. But once I’m home this weekend, I’m diving right into some nostalgic and comforting meals that bring me joy.
This Week’s Meals
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on the menu this week:
Monday:
Travel day — eating out on the road! The kids are spending time with their grandparents.
Tuesday:
Still traveling — more dining out adventures! (And probably a snack or two from the expo 😉)
Wednesday:
Another day at the expo — enjoying whatever looks tasty while exploring Indianapolis.
Thursday:
Wrapping up the trip and likely grabbing something to eat while traveling home.
Friday:
One more travel meal before reuniting with the kiddos. I’m soaking up every last bite of this food-filled adventure.
Saturday:
We’re kicking off the weekend with a comfort food classic: Grandpa’s Special — a treasured family recipe you’ll see in my YouTube video. It’s simple, hearty, and full of love.
Sunday:
A full plate of cozy favorites:
• Cranberry Sauerkraut Meatballs
• Mashed Potatoes
• Roasted Cauliflower
• Pull-Apart Bread
This is one of those meals that fills you up and feeds the soul.
Where I Shop
I kick off each week with my Monday ALDI shopping trip, where I find incredible deals on staples and seasonal items. ALDI is my go-to for most of my groceries, but I also shop at Walmart, Costco, Trader Joe’s, and occasionally use subscription food companies to mix things up. The variety helps keep my meals exciting and fresh.
