Welcome back to another weekly meal plan! This week looks a little different — in the best way. With only two days of school, the big Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, and a weekend getaway to Indianapolis (hello, eating out — my favorite!), our schedule is cozy, flexible, and focused on making the most of time with family.
I’m still practicing OMAD, so my goal is always one delicious, satisfying meal each day — even during holiday weeks. This lineup mixes easy meals, traditional favorites, and leftovers to make use of everything before we hit the road. And if you want to see the grocery haul behind this plan, you can watch it right here: this week’s ALDI haul.
Let’s jump in!
This Week’s Meals
Here’s what’s cooking this Thanksgiving week:
Monday
Baked Potato Bar — Build your own! I love mine loaded with butter, shredded cheddar, steamed broccoli, sour cream, lots of pepper, and bacon bits.
Recipe: baked potato bar
Tuesday
A cozy pasta night:
Wednesday
Leftovers before Thanksgiving! A perfect way to simplify life and use up everything before the big cooking day. Also, this will be our pie making day… and maybe rolls?! Get some items prepped to make tomorrow a bit easier!
Thursday — Thanksgiving!
All the traditional favorites — you can see everything I’m making in this Thanksgiving video.
I’m also adding fresh green beans to the menu this year.

Friday
Thanksgiving leftovers! Honestly one of the best parts of the holiday. Personally, I like to split a giant roll and add cranberry, turkey (or this year, chicken!), gravy, mashed potatoes, and stuffing with mayo and sliced cheese to make a wonderful leftover sandwich! 🤤
Saturday
We’re in Indianapolis! We’ll be eating out while enjoying a fun weekend of sports (both Pacers & Colts!) and visiting the Children’s Museum.
Sunday
Still in Indianapolis, still eating out, still loving every minute.
Where I Shop
ALDI is my favorite store and where I buy most of my ingredients. I round out the rest of my list at Meijer. Occasionally, I pop into Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, and Trader Joe’s for fun finds or household staples.
Recipes and Inspiration
Most of my recipes come from online resources, and I save everything on my Pinterest page: Intermittent Fasting Foodie Pinterest.
It’s a great place to look if you want fresh ideas each week!
