As I have began to make more and more YouTube shorts, I have also began to watch more. We’ll call it ‘research’ but really we could also probably call it ‘zoning out’! Either works, but the fact remains… it’s led me to some creators I really enjoy following!
One is Paige Lindgren. She is a fabulous creator; entertaining, authentic and shares delicious food. Now I love to see lots of yummy food content, though I would say my execution of foods I see is low. However, a few weeks ago Paige shared a delicious breakfast that I KNEW I had to try.
Thank God it was a short I saw because I am newly obsessed with this! I have made it several times over the past weeks and it’s delicious!
Step 1:
Toast your bread. I’m not picky and prefer to use whatever needs to be used at home. My absolute favorite would be Rye bread though.
Step 2:
Add thick layer of Avocado…. smash or don’t you’re the boss!!
Step 3:
Add thick layer of Cottage Cheese…. 🤤 I do 4% large curd, but all works and I like it all!
Step 4:
Course ground salt & pepper. Again, this is preference based, but my favorite is a heavy hand with pepper and less with the salt.
Step 5:
Sprinkle with Red Pepper Flakes!
Step 6:
Drizzle with Honey. Now Paige doesn’t mention Hot Honey, but I am using it and it’s so good!! It’s a great combination with the creamy and cool ingredients. Such a wonderful marriage.
I am so happy to have found this snack! It’s satisfying, it has protein, healthy fat, a natural sweetness and truly something I look forward to eating! See it in one of my shorts, here!
