Window Worthy Food (for my Eating Window!)

I don’t know for sure what made me want a loaded yogurt bowl to open my eating window (probably TikTok!)… but I woke up knowing I was going to have yogurt to open my eating window. This tub of yogurt (honey greek from ALDI is divine!) was originally for me to eat after my tonsillectomy, but it never sounded good until today! I even saw granola when walking to Target check out and somehow it ended up in my cart. See what I used & I made… it was delicious and beautiful (for about 3 seconds)!!

Because I ate lunch (not dinner) yesterday, I was at 24 hours fasted when I made this yogurt bowl! ????
My supplies – Honey greek yogurt, bananas, cinnamon granola, chia seeds, blueberry…. and my new bowls from Christmas.

It’s important, in my opinion, to allow yourself foods in your eating window you look forward to. As a self-identified foodie, I cannot be convinced that food is not for pleasure. I not only eat for sustenance, I also eat for pleasure. So when I dream of what I want to open my eating window with, I go for it.

All pretty before my spoon was involved! ????
Not too pretty to eat though!
Told you, pretty didn’t last long.
Me delighted after the yogurt ????
(with gummy teeth)

Let me know if you have been obsessed with a window opener lately – you can bet I’m adding this to tomorrow’s eating window too! I love that with fasting I can eat whatever sounds good – it’s just a matter of when.
