If you’re new around here, you need to know I am a huge fan and so grateful for Gin Stephens. She is the author of two books I recommend reading. You can learn all about them in this post; bottom line, they give great information to fuel your resolve to adopt the intermittent fasting lifestyle.
Gin has a podcast that I have binged each and every episode of – Intermittent Fasting Stories. It’s an interview style podcast where Gin interviews those who are intermittent fasters and goes over their fasting lifestyle. My favorite thing about the podcast is hearing how differently individuals can implement fasting in their lives, but the common thread is they still find such great success. Each story is different, but I am inspired and appreciate pieces of each.
Naturally with my love of the show and my love of intermittent fasting I wanted to join her show! I followed the sign-up prompts and scheduled 6 months out to be on the show. Finally, December 06 I was set to interview with her. We “met” on a webcam setting, recorded the episode and it really was a great time. I was so nervous before hand, but truly it felt like I was talking with a friend.
If you’re reading this prepping to be on her podcast, here is my recommendation… make notes of what you want to say! Making notes helped me feel more prepared. Also, be sure you’re a listener! If you listen, you’ll have an understanding of the flow. Finally, don’t worry. I know it’s easy to say, but harder to actually relax. However, I promise you, it felt like I was just hanging out with a girlfriend. Time passed quickly and with ease.
Episode Details
Even though we recorded in December, it was April 07 the episode released. You can find it here. I am Jackie Moravek Episode 194.
In the excitement of recording, I did leave out parts of my story I wanted to share. Oh well, only so much can fit into an hour episode. I made a quick YouTube video, including technical issues (UGH!) prohibiting Gin’s talking. You can see us “meeting” there, but truly, the audio failed me. Oh well, it is what it is.
If you’re interested in being on the podcast, Gin share’s that you can email her to submit your interest.
