Are you always looking for Intermittent Fasting Meal Plan ideas? Well good news! Every week I do my family meal plan and it revolves around the 7 dinners I want to eat this week! I eat One Meal a Day (OMAD) and as a result, the seven meals are very important to me!
Many ask ‘how many meals to have during intermittent fasting’ and often want to copy exactly what another faster eats, too. However, I want to encourage you, eat what is good for you. I am sharing not for you to copy it, but just to see that I regularly eat a variety of food!
This post is all about my February 13-19, 2022 Intermittent Fasting Meal Plan.
First of all, if you want to see me shop for these items, make sure you check out my accompanying video where I take you into ALDI with me! We shop together to get all the ingredients to make my meals.
I do most of my weekly grocery shopping for all of these meal ideas each Sunday at my local ALDI. ALDI is my preferred grocery store because I believe they have great quality and the most reasonable prices!
Intermittent Fasting Meal Ideas
This week we have a few basketball games for Mila (my 6th grader) which calls for easier meals. The first easy meal was hot dogs and mac and cheese. Am I bragging or particularly looking forward to this dinner? Not really, but it gets the job done! Also, another easy dinner is pancakes, strawberry sauce and hash brown sticks. My kids love those sticks!
Also, these ramen noodles have been in ALDI for a few weeks and I finally put them on the meal plan. I am making a vegan coconut curry ramen, inspired by a recipe linked below. I am so excited for this meal, I love a good spicy and creamy sauce!
The meal I am most looking forward to is Pork Burnt ends shown below (I plan to oven bake, not microwave), mashed potatoes, corn kernels and air fried brussel sprouts. Cannot wait!!
It’s amazing how easy intermittent fasting and one meal a day are when you look forward to the meal you eat! Definitely helps to enjoy the meal if you plan it. Bonus tip – if my family wants a meal I don’t, I will make it after a meal I love (like burnt ends and mashed potatoes) and I will eat leftovers of a delicious meal I want instead!
ALDI Fun Beyond Groceries
I also love that they have fun items in the ALDI Finds aisle. Perfect example is the hoodie blanket. It’s a must have for our cold midwestern winter. I am always freezing as an intermittent faster and wear mine daily. I was so excited to see them back in ALDI again this winter.
Of course with it being Valentine’s day week, ALDI was prepped on all the flowers! So beautiful. I actually ran to ALDI after my normal grocery haul because I forgot cake pop ingredients and my 12 year old Mila asked me to grab her flowers to take her friends on Valentine’s day; 20 tulips for $10!!
