YIKES! I missed last week – my apologies. So, as a result, you get a twofer… two weeks of schedules for one! I always stress that Intermittent Fasting is flexible and can accommodate your life. I feel like seeing 2 weeks of my EXACT eating times and EXACT fast lengths demonstrates that.
Summary of Each week
From one week to the next, I fasted 10 hours more July 17-23 compared to July 10-16. I was PMSing the week of July 10-16. Once my period actually arrived, my hunger really lessened. I am always hungrier the week/half week leading up to my period; and you often see it as I break my fast pretty close to 18 hours then.
Longest and Shortest Fasts
Another indicator of flexibility is the fast that no two days are exactly the same. I opened my window as early as 12:45 someday and as late as 5:03 PM another day.
My longest fast was 24 hours and 26 minutes. Each week had a 24 hour fast, neither were intentional, simply dictated by our schedule. Though I didn’t plan them, I do usually have a 24 hour fast each week.
My shortest fast was 18 hours and 6 minutes. I was HUNGRY (yes, it was PMS hunger…. hello horomones!!) and I don’t sweat giving in and having longer windows. It makes the lifestyle sustainable because I go with my FLO 🙂
Schedule Schmedule
As a reminder, my ONLY commitment to a schedule is a minimum 18 hour fast daily. Sometimes I break it before 18 hours, but it’s rate. That’s a baseline that works really well for me. It gives the the flexibility to move my eating window anywhere. I just do my fasting math, plan accordingly and truly can eat what & when it’s important to me!
