First things, first. My summary; 148 hours and 24 minutes fasted! A week has 168 hours total. A bit of math, (168-148.35) leaves me about 19.65 hours in my eating window for the week. A bit more math (19.65/7) shows that I had just under 3 hour eating window on average (2.8 hours). Maybe I should start busting out this number each week. Would you like to see that?
I still don’t like Zero’s new graphic, but what can I do? NOTHING! So I will share it and use it…. it’s a free tool Jackie you cannot complain!
But do you know what I do love?! Having my Zero app on my apple watch! It’s seriously a wonderful tool and my favorite part of my apple watch. Having my timer handy and easy to snap a pic of/record is SO nice for someone like me who is documenting daily! You’ll see some of this documentation soon.
Nitty Gritty
Above you can see the exact hours of my eating windows and my fasting windows. There wasn’t too much variation this week. One contribution to this was I didn’t do any down/up days. I had two down days in the week previous and I also knew I was about to embark on my first ever 100 hour fast. So I kept this week simple…. eat a delicious meal daily. DONE!
You can see I took three pictures this week of me about to SMASH my OMAD… but I documented my time. I tend to do this more when I am opening my eating window with my meal (ie… no snacking before).
Meals
This was a perfect OMAD… ham and pineapple pizza with ranch and flavored crusts. Worth waiting 21 hours for!
Hands down the BEST meal of the week. Butter Chicken; a family favorite. My daughter Elsie requested it and who was I to say NO. I had multiple servings and enjoyed each bite!! We did get Ice Cream afterwards too. Like I said, best meal of the week. Worth waiting nearly 23 hours for!
Finally, this picture was from Saturday. We were supposed to be at an amusement park while visiting my dad – probably with corn dog and fries for my OMAD. But Michigan weather and rain said “no”. So instead we went to Pizza Ranch (a buffet and arcade) and I ate pizza, fried chicken, salad bar, dessert pizza etc. This was a fun meal and I would again say, worth the 20.5 hour fast!
Watch for Next Week
Next week will be different than most weekly summaries. As I write this I am attempting a 100 hour fast. So, my goal is that will be reflected in next week’s data! Wish me luck.
Also, this is my weekly reminder I share NOT to tell you this is the way to implement a fasting schedule. I share so you see flexibility in hours, in food, it fasting/eating window lengths. We’re all individuals, but we can all find what works for us! Be flexible, try schedules until you see what’s best for you!
