The holidays are almost here, and I don’t know about you, but I’m buzzing with excitement! From Thanksgiving feasts to cozy Christmas mornings in jammies, and finally ringing in the New Year (hello, 2026 🤯), this season feels magical in so many ways.
What makes it even sweeter? Practicing Intermittent Fasting, mostly OMAD, gives me the freedom to look forward to all of it—without stressing over dieting rules or restrictions.
Freedom to Celebrate, Not Stress
I love this lifestyle because it lets me focus on what truly matters: being present with family, sharing traditions, and soaking in the joy of the season. No “should I eat this?” or “how many calories is that?” running in the background of my mind. Just peace, celebration, and the chance to fully enjoy the moments.
Food as a Gift of Love
One of my favorite parts of the holidays is thinking of fun dishes to bring to gatherings. I love experimenting with new recipes, pulling out tried-and-true favorites, and tasting all the special holiday foods that only come around once a year.
The best part? The decision isn’t wrapped up in dieting rules—it’s about sharing something delicious with people I love. Food becomes a way to connect, to laugh, to celebrate. That’s joy. That’s peace.
A perfect example? I look forward to these cranberry sauerkraut meatballs each Holiday season – whether as a dish to pass or at my home. They’re a crowd pleaser and I love them – simple as that, no stress on top of it!

A Season of Abundance ✨
Whether it’s passing a homemade dish at a family table, savoring Grandma Judy’s famous sour cream cookies, or toasting the New Year with something bubbly, OMAD allows me to enjoy it all with freedom. This way of life is not about restriction—it’s about abundance in every sense of the word.

Let’s Share Recipes!
I’m already dreaming up dishes for the season ahead, and I’d love to add some new ones to the list. Do you have a favorite holiday recipe I should try? Drop it in the comments—I’d be so excited to make it part of my celebrations this year!
