Week in Review! So many holiday hours!!

It’s been made known that readers enjoy seeing my week-to-week actual fasting & eating hours!  I am happy to share these… it just takes commitment on my part!!  I am sorry for the lack of consistency.

Here is this past week’s fasting/eating summary.  Even though this is for December 11-17, 2022 the idea is the same even years later.  I focus on getting in my fast, but I am flexible with it.

Here are the exact hours for each day.

The true benefit (as I see it) to sharing this is that it’s a demonstration of exactly how much variety an OMAD lifestyle can have.I opened my eating window as early as 9:26 am, and closed it as late as 8:45 pm.  That’s a long range of times.

It’s not a strict lifestyle! Before I started I was one that couldn’t imagine OMAD being “freeing” at all!  But it is!  I focus on the fast (ensuring I get those 18 hours) and then the rest I can play with!

Within this past week I had the opportunity to go to a family Christmas and early in the week met a friend for breakfast.  If there are events or meals I want to participate in, I can move my fasting and eating windows to accommodate it.

Whether it’s a holiday gathering, a child’s birthday, or a normal dinner… there is room for anything important to me!

  1. Love this! Thank you! Seeing how you work fasting in maintenance really helps me! From your live today I wanted to say I have Glucose Revolution from Jessie, I love her information! If I had a cgm I’d see if I could have ACV while fasting. Though she uses it mostly as a tool when you ARE eating anyway. I think keeping blood sugar stable is so important for lasting health! Thanks Jackie! One other book I’d recommend is The Every Other Day Diet by Krista Varady. She is the professor Michael Mosley got his information from. Just an interesting read and viewpoint. I got it on kindle.

    1. I have just started testing ACV (because of Glucose Revolution!) Thank you for the recommendation! I haven’t read her stuff yet, but of course have heard of her through other books.
