Birthday Week Meal Plan for OMAD Lovers
Welcome back to my weekly meal plan roundup! This week is extra special in our house because itβs Elsieβs birthday week! β¨Β Between celebrating with family, having a couple of her friends spend the night, and squeezing in some comfort food favorites, this weekβs meals are full of flavor and fun.
As always, I plan my meals with the OMAD lifestyle in mindβfocusing on one delicious, satisfying meal each day that I truly look forward to. I love creating variety, keeping things easy, and making sure special occasions still feel, wellβ¦ special!

This Weekβs Meals
Hereβs whatβs on our menu:
Monday:
Leftover soups from Sunday! We had two soups going: hearty Beer Cheese Soup and a comforting vegetable soup.
Vegetable Soup Ingredients:
- Frozen California Blend
- Frozen Mixed Veggies
- Can of Diced Tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 Carton Beef Stock (or vegetable)
- 2 cans Tomato Sauce
- Italian Seasoning (1 tbsp +/-)
- Salt (1 tsp +/-)
- Pepper (2 tsp +/-)
- Garlic Powder (1 tsp +/-)
- Onion Powder (1 tsp +/-)
- Minced Onion (2 tsp +/-)
Combine everything and let it slow cook for 7β9 hours. Itβs so easy to prep the night before and start in the morningβperfect for busy days! Serve with homemade crusty bread or pretzels.
Tuesday:
Walking Tacos! No formal recipe needed hereβitβs a build-your-own taco bowl or salad using this taco meat recipe, black beans, corn chips, salsa, salsa con queso, and shredded Mexican cheese. Always a hit!
Wednesday:
Breakfast for dinner night! French Toast Sticks, crispy Breakfast Potatoes, bacon, and eggs on the side. Comfort food at its finest.
Thursday:
A cozy night in with Annieβs White Mac and Cheese, Bean Salad, and roasted carrots. Simple, colorful, and satisfying!Β You might be able to guess, but Kel requested Mac and Cheese.
Friday:
β¨ Elsieβs Birthday!β¨Β
She gets to choose dinner, and weβre topping it off with a Samβs Club chocolate cake with whipped icing (our favorite!).
Saturday:
Pizza party night! Elsieβs having two friends sleep over, so weβre ordering pizza and making a big salad to go with it.
Sunday:
Mattβs firing up the Blackstone for juicy cheeseburgers, and weβre serving them with waffle friesβan ALDI Find Iβm loving right now! Perfect crispy companion to those burgers!

Most of my ingredients come from ALDIβitβs my favorite place to stock up and find weekly deals. I usually round things out at Meijer, and I like to pop into Costco, Samβs Club, Target, and Trader Joeβs for specific finds or fun extras.
